VOMIGOD „VG-05”

Not too many information with this one. Vomigod are a brutal death / grind metal band from Poland and most of the songs recorded on this promo are also available on the split, the band released last year with their land-mates Bunder Nekromunda (another grind-ish band from Poland reviewed years ago in those pages, see our demo reviews section). Fans of the genre will find this an excellent addition to their collection but if sick grind brutal death metal is not your favourite kind of music, then you better have to avoid „VG-05” as bubonic plague… there is nothing for you on this release. Fast grind core parts alternating with nice groovy brutal death broken sections, the whole coupled with an oppressive surroundings is what you get here (the promo also strangely features a cover of Mayhem classic „Chainsaw Gutsfuck” and a nice bonus song). Recommended in small doses for full impact.
